Ms. Tompsett

I have been a teacher at Mission Elementary School since 2014. I taught third grade for six years, and now I am teaching fifth grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree of Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University San Marcos. I believe my role in the classroom is the facilitate the learning of my students. This empowers them to take ownership of their learning. Professionally, I am passionate about literacy, problem solving, and using technology as a tool to create, collaborate, communicate, and foster critical thinking.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Adam, since 2013. We had our sweet baby girl, Ashi, on April 17, 2017. I enjoy hiking, reading, biking, camping, drinking coffee, and going to the beach.
