In ASL 1, students will learn about Deaf Culture, ASL grammar, and ASL vocabulary and phrases in the following topics: Introductions, Greetings and Farewells, Facial Expressions, Family, School, Days and Holidays, Numbers, Daily Routine, Cities and States, Addresses, and more.
ASL 101- First Semester
ASL 102- Second Semester
In ASL 2, students will learn about Deaf Culture, ASL grammar, and ASL vocabulary and phrases in the following topics: Sports and Activities, Describing People, Classifiers, Personal Hygiene, Community, Money, Animals, and Spatial Visualization.
ASL 201- First Semester
ASL 202- Second Semester
Continues to build upon lessons taught in ASL 1 and 2. Advanced ASL is a two-year cyclical course that meets the needs for both ASL 3 and ASL 4. Topics include: Nature, STEM, Current Events and History, Food and Business, Health and Wellbeing, Education, Religion, Travel, Hobbies, and ASL Literature.
