COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES OFFERING ASL
last update 2017
Post-Secondary ASL Programs: Direct Instruction & Online
This is a comprehensive list of programs that offer ASL in Ohio (including some online programs based outside of Ohio). The list consists of a mixture of programs that take place online, as well as programs offer via IVDL, community colleges, and regular 4-year colleges/universities. This list does NOT contain universities that may offer ASL such as OSU, Kent State, Bowling Green, etc. Those universities do offer ASL at the college level. The colleges in this list might allow high school students to take ASL. For example, Columbus State Community College allows students to take classes as early as 8th grade depending on how they score on a specific test. It is up to you to contact the school to see if they allow HS students or not.
Disclaimer: I cannot give you recommendations or tell you the quality or reputation of any program listed below. If you find a program you are interested in, you are responsible to do your own research on the quality of instruction and of the program as a whole.
