The ACT is a college admissions test measuring what you have learned in high school to determine your academic readiness for college.
All juniors in the state of Wisconsin are required to take the ACT at their high school in the winter of their junior year. The required state ACT is free to students and registration for the exam will be completed during the school day. Do not register for the state exam online.
The ACT is offered 7 times throughout the calendar year on Saturday. Students may take the ACT as many times as they wish. These tests are available at various locations. To take the ACT on a national test date, students must register online and pay the test fee by the registration deadline.
ACT No Writing = $60
ACT With Writing = $85
***Junior and Senior students who qualify for free or reduced lunch at school can take the national exam up to two times for free. Students will need to obtain a fee waiver form from their school counselor prior to completing test registration online. ***
