Overview of exam
All juniors in the state of Wisconsin must take the ACT Plus Writing test during the junior year. The state ACT exam will be administered to students at Osceola High School at no cost to students and families. More information will be shared with families prior to the exam.
The ACT tests include: Reading, Math, English, Science, Writing.
Students may use their ACT Plus Writing exam scores for admission into post-secondary institutions and programs, college admission, scholarships, course placement, and NCAA eligibility.
Students must have a minimum passing score of at least a 65 out of 100. For more information about the Civics requirement please visit WI DPI Civics Graduation Requirement
*Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch may receive a fee waiver from their school counselor to take these exams at no cost.
**Students who receive accommodations at school may apply to receive accommodations on standardized exams, please discuss how to do so with your case manager or school counselor.

Visit AP Exam Information to learn more about upcoming test dates, costs, and test preparation. Students will register to take an AP exam through Osceola High School while enrolled in an AP course at OHS.
This is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. This is traditionally offered one time a year at OHS in the fall.

Offered one time in the fall for juniors, this assessment will give students an opportunity to receive a projected SAT score along with the opportunity to compete in the National Merit Scholarship Corporation programs.
