This site contains resources for parents for the instructional platforms and applications used by Orland School District 135.

Before School Starts Checklist

Make sure you are ready BEFORE the first day of school!

Make sure your child's device turns on and is fully functional.
Make sure your student can log into the Clever App, Seesaw and Zoom using Log in with Google. (Make sure you have a copy of their credentials as well.)
Discuss at home expectations for iPad use including time limits and appropriate locations in the house.
Set up the Securly and JAMF parent app.
(EC-5th grade parents) Set up Seesaw Parent App if have never used it.

Parental Tools

Securly Internet Filter - District device internet filter. Parent accounts allow parents to see student internet activity and restrict access to internet and specific specific sites.

JAMF Parent App - This parent app will allow you to restrict use and set time limits on district iPad. (Parent must have personal iPhone/iPad)

Internet/Apps Issues - It your app doesn't seem to connect or can't get to the internet? If other devices work on the same Wifi, but school iPad doesn't, try this!

Classrooms Communication Tools

Seesaw -This is the primary parent communication tool for grades EC-5. Students at all grade levels can use Seesaw to create content to demonstrate understanding . Learn more here about this tool including parent access. Student Access: Student logs into iPad Seesaw Class app using "Log in with Google". NOTE: During the 23-24 school year, classroom communcation will transition to ParentSquare.

Google Classroom - This is the primary parent communication tool for Junior High students. Students at all grade levels can use Google Classroom to submit work and work on collaborative documents. Learn more here about this tool including parent access. Student Access: Student uses Google Classroom iPad app and logs in with their D135 Google account. NOTE: During the 23-24 school year, classroom communcation will transition to ParentSquare.
