Meet the man behind the madness of Orion Upfitting-- Steve Zimmerman.

Steve has been in the automotive industry his entire life. He started as a parts salesman, moved into collision repair, then earned an engineering degree afterwhich he held over 5 years experience in the automotive engineering sector. 

His woodworking craftsmanship comes from countless hours of experience with his grandfather. 

Steve's thrill for adventure led him into the van life. He became enthralled with customizing his own vehicles to suit his travel needs when touring the country skiing, dirt biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, hunting, and so much more. 

These experiences and knowledge allow Steve to build custom vehicles that suit you and your needs because he understands the importance of being comfortable wherever life's adventures may take you! 

And don't forget the hardest working member of the team.... Frank.

Frank is our comfort care specialist. He makes sure our products keep our customers happy and everything built is up to his high standards. 

Frank lives a life of luxury and leisure and mainly works the midnight shift.
