Mrs. Ferry

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Colleen Ferry, and I am so eager to be your new 6th grade English/Language Arts teacher at Orion Middle School!

I have been teaching since 2002 at a nearby rural school district.  My experiences have been in 6th grade, as well as 7th and 8th, but I spent many years teaching kindergarten as well.  I am super excited to be close by in my hometown district, as I am a 1998 graduate of Orion!

My husband, Justin, and I have been married since 2003, and we live a few miles outside of Orion.  We have two children....Austin is a junior at WIU, and Jaxon is a 9th grader here at Orion.

I am blessed to have such wonderful students at OMS.  I am anxious to see the progress they make in their reading and writing skills this year!
