• We will be working on a realistic fiction unit for the next five weeks.  Students will be reading the novel Ghost by Jason Reynolds.   Students have received a reading calendar, and it is also posted in google classroom.

• Today we started lesson 1.1. We did 1.1 Notes in class. The kids were told that there is always a completed version of the notes on Google Classroom if they need help while working on homework at home and forget thier notebook at school!

• Today the students did a group 'All About My Teacher' true/false activity in class.

• We have started putting together our ELA notebooks.  This will take us a couple of days.

Math: 

• Today in class we did an activity to learn about productive struggle. They now know how to fit their body through a notecard!

• Please wrap your textbook with your brown paper bag by Friday, Aug. 21.
