Reading

I enjoyed learning about reading through book clubs this year! Below is some of my best work.

This year I participated in SIX book clubs with my classmates; here are the books I read.

READ THESE DIRECTIONS AND THEN DELETE THIS BLOCK BY CLICKING ON THE TRASHCAN TO THE LEFT IT.

  1. For each book club book you read this year click on one of the shaded boxes and search for the book cover, then add the book's title and author's name, finally, write what you think the theme of the book is (you can refer back to old journal entries and saved post-its if needed).
  2. Insert the book club entry that you are most proud of this year.
  3. Embed the Book Trailer you made for the Civil Rights (March) Book Club end of book project.

Because writing about reading helps you become a stronger reader, I wrote a book club journal entry once a week. Writing these entries gave me a chance to practice the reading skills I learned in Reader's Workshop.

Here is one of the book club journal entries I'm most proud of from this year.

At the end of each book club I completed a final project for the book I read. Here is a book trailer I made for the book ______ by ___________.
