Oregon State Engineers in Action

Who are we?

We represent the student chapter of Engineers in Action at Oregon State University, established in 2022 as a sub-group of our student chapter of the American Society of Civil  Engineers. Our collaborative efforts involve working with teams from various schools, EIA ambassadors, Bridge Corps members, and community members. Together, we strive to construct a new footbridge in Eswatini every year!

Mission

Engineers In Action’s mission is to support development of sustainable systems and infrastructure with underserved communities, local expertise, and global partners.

Vision

We strive towards a world where everybody has safe river crossings to access the basic opportunities they need to thrive.

Values

Equity, education, community, professionalism, and more. These values guide everything we do!
