Technical Portions of Project Complete: This milestone is our aim to have everything technical about the project (basically the whole system) complete. We want to have a functional and well-done system by this point.
Design Review: This consists of peers evaluating the design of particular aspects of our design for the project thus far and receiving their feedback to incorporate into the system.
System Review: This consists of peers evaluating the system as it is so far and receiving their feedback to incorporate into the system as needed.
Summary Video, Elevator Speech: The summary video will include an outline and a 4-5 minute video showcasing the system. It should show the design features and the quality of work that the team has put into the system. It will also walk through the system and show a brief demonstration of the system, as well as a reflection on the project. The elevator speech is a brief, 90-second speech that will be used to pitch the system and project to potential employers and the audience at the expo. We will record this speech in video format and include our roles in the project and our takeaways from the project.
Final Video Complete: All recording and editing should be done on the summary videos and elevator speeches.
Engineering Expo: The End! We will be showing our projects to those in attendance at the Engineering Expo. This is the culmination of all our work in the project. This is our time to “show off” and be proud of the work that we did.
