You feel your heart begin to pound in your chest. Your hands and forehead become sweaty and the room you’re in starts to rapidly spin. What could be the cause of all this? An American Cockroach, scurrying out from behind a corner. Though this reaction may seem exaggerated to some, it is a daily reality for those with katsaridaphobia. The purpose of this project is to educate on the topics of psychology, entomophobia and more specifically katsaridaphobia, the American Cockroach itself, and the roles of insects in human life.
