Our Goal

Complexity to Simplicity

The number of systems and digital resources used in school systems continues to increase and all of these systems rely upon student data.

Without a common data standard, it is challenging and time-consuming to make and support the data connections needed. The likelihood of errors increases, as well.

Using the Ed-Fi Data Standard, we are:

Creating a consistent method to securely connect student data with school applications used to support student learning.
Simplifying how educators can access data to see students needing support.
Addressing security and student-data privacy concerns.
Creating a proof-of-concept for a new, streamlined State Reporting process.

Our Vision

Improving educational outcomes for Oregon students is our focus and passion. Building on the history of strong collaboration in the Oregon K-12 community, Education Nexus Oregon is working towards a standard data format The goal is to simplify access for educators, solve interoperability issues, and allow school systems to safely and securely store and exchange data.
