First Time Account Setup & Login

To access digital tools across OCS, you'll use your official OCS Google Account (created automatically once your Acceptable Use Policy is complete).

Follow these steps to log in and secure your account:

Step 1: Log in to a New Chrome Profile

Open Chrome and add a new profile using your OCS credentials:

- Email: st_(first initial)(last name)@oregoncs.org

(e.g., Alexander Hamilton= st_ahamilton@oregoncs.org)

Password: pass123456

Follow the on-screen prompt to create a new password.

Step 2: Enable Required 2-Step Verification

Click your profile initials in the top right corner of Chrome (labeled School).
Select Manage Your Google Account.
Go to Security & sign-In.
Select 2-Step Verification and enter your cell phone number.
Scroll down and click Turn on 2-Step Verification.

Chromebook Request

Many student teachers choose to use their personal laptop while teaching in OCS. However, you may request a district-issued Chromebook to borrow during the duration of your teaching experience.

Printing

Now that you have your Google Account, you can print at any copy machine in the district. Find the email from RICOH in your OCS account. This email contains a print release code. Use this code at any copy machine to release print jobs or make copies.

If you are using an OCS issued Chromebook, you will only need to select the printer in the print menu:

OregonCS_Print_BW (black and white prints)
OregonCS_Print_Color (full color prints)

If you are using a personal device, please follow the steps on this page to install the printers.
