For years, only ORCA high schoolers could join Student Government, but that changed for middle school students last year. Student Government now offers many opportunities for students in grades 6-8 to represent their classes in leadership roles. ORCA held elections last spring to select a new president and vice president, as well as new senators and officers.

Middle School Student Government plans many events throughout the school year, including supporting Elementary and Middle School Hangouts. They host virtual assemblies every quarter; the most recent was on November 4. They also work alongside HS SG for various activities, including the Can Drives at Open House and Spring Celebration for those in need.
