Scott Houston, from Educators Co-op, held an insightful professional development which focused on the different types of strategic thinking that are demanded from students when working though the computer adaptive questions presented on the SBAC. This is not intended to be used as test preparation. It is to be used to offer insight on what types of thinking, we as teachers, should be able to identify. Once we are able to identify them, we could apply them to our instruction with our curriculum and supplemental resources (see Interactive Math Websites)
