Hello! My name is Pablo Alberto Mendez and my senior project is based on my culture in Mexico. In Mexico, there are multiple different diverse states with their own dialect and subculture, one of them being Oaxaca & Guerrero. I plan to learn the language of Zapoteco whilst also embracing my indigenous Mexican culture. 

My goals for this project are to:

One: Be able to speak and learn some of Zapoteco

Two: Be able to learn other traditions like weaving, dances, music, and food 

Three: To be able to connect back to my heritage 

Four: Share my heritage and culture I learn with people
