For my senior project, I did hydroponics; growing plants without dirt as a medium. I built a system from PVC, tubing, a pump, and grates. I wanted to create a system that gave the therapeutic side of gardening, without the dirt mess.

Gardening is naturally a therapeutic thing, but the comfort of your own home with minimal effort is better. Sometimes going to the grocery store to obtain fresh fruits and vegetables is challenging. From the lack of variety to the price or even just a public environment can be the culprit.

My objective with this project is to demonstrate how you can make a HP system using household materials and it being inexpensive. But also to educate how easy it can be done, and the therapeutic alleviation gardening can do for someone.
