Minimalist Camping

Minimalist Camping
I was a junior in high school and I had only slept in a tent once when I was a young child. My summer goal for 2021 was to sleep in a tent. This was the spark of my senior project. I had realized that I wasn't as outdoorsy as I thought. I could barely keep a campfire going, I didn't know how to find edible plants in the woods, etc. I decided to learn how to enjoy minimalist camping while applying bushcraft skills. This required a lot of research and experiments. I experimented with fire, food (plants and animals!), and shelter. I learned how to camp rather than "glamp."
The final product for my senior project is a research journal and a shelter that I built using bushcraft skills and minimalist supplies.
