Drew Messier

About my Project

My name is Drew Messier and my senior project is to study, and write my own book of poetry. I have been really interested in poetry after taking a creative writing class last year (Thanks Mr. Kelman). I have been writing on my own for a while and I decided what better to do for my project then create my own book like other authors I admire have. I have used this as a chance to hone my skills and interact with other poets to improve my writing.

My mentor for this project was published poet Rebecca Starks.
