Final Journal / Self Assessment

Please attach your final journal entry on this page. This can be a written document (2-3 pages) OR a video recording, but it must address the criteria below.

The final journal entry is the most important in terms of self-reflection and demonstration of personal growth throughout the Senior Project process.

This is a separate entry; it is NOT part of the other entries required to show proficiency.

It is more like a personal essay, so please include:

a. A short introduction to what you did.

I tried to make an arcade cabinet similar in style to the ones in circulation i the 80s

b. Cite examples of your personal growth and understanding while working on your product

I learned to use digital programs to edit and design objects, I also learned how to use a laser cutter one of the hardest parts of the project

c. Describe the relationship with your mentor or other staff where you worked

It was good, Cadow was always there when I needed assistance and helped me each step of the way

d. Write a self-evaluation of your performance on your product, including situations where you handled yourself well or those you handled poorly

when I was in school I was great, I made 3 prototypes that differed in so many ways from what material they where made from to subtle design techniques. However outside of school I wasn't able to get much work done due to my distance from the school and having my only ride to school being taken away. It was difficult for me but I did my best.

e. Compare what you learned while working on your product to what you learned from doing research on your paper, as well as how you felt you did on the paper.

the paper was a joy to write, I enjoyed doing thorough research into a subject I'm passionate about. I went out of my way to interview people for my paper and used a verity of sources, I'm proud of how the paper came out.

f. Short conclusion

I am sad the project itself wasn't able to be completed, however I'm more then happy with how the paper turned out.
