These are some of my poems with some Haiku as well. The book itself was handcrafted last year in English class. This book will grow more and more with poems as time moves on, even out of school. The poems inside are dark in a way to most people that read them, but that just means they have more emotions in them. The poems in the book like (Blood and Insane) are a bit graphic in a way.
Poems I did last year
(Better To Feel Pain Than None) is one of my poems that can give you a base understanding of what's in the book. The audience this book is intended for is people who have had a hard past with depression. Within pain there is art, when you read deep within yourself you can find some form of light.
My Growth
These bits and pieces of paper are what I like to call sketches. The beginning form of my poems, they look like a mess yes but its hold i work. At first last year I would just write how I feel and describe things and creatures. Now with Haikus I just wrote down a subject and wrote words related to the subject. Afterwards I would pick and choose what words would go into the Haikus/Poems. So now with writing I try my best to be more selective with my words and have a more impact with the end result.
