My name is Matthew Stevens and this project is about Japanese poets & poetry influencing the world. I have researched some American poets and how they got into the Japanese style of haiku. I also put some of my own poems in this project, some old & some new. This project shows growth in the langue of poetry through a young writer's eyes.
