Aidan Tong attended the State Science Fair and received a 39/40. Aidan was nominated to compete in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge 2025. The Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge nomination is awarded to the top 10 percent of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at affiliated science fairs around the US. The top 30 applicants get to compete in Washington DC in October. Congratulations Aidan!

Congratulations to the boys’ track and field team for an incredible comeback to win back-to-back CVC championships last night at West Geauga! The team had multiple first-place finishes and set several personal records to secure the victory.

Christian P. with a new PR in the long jump, Raphael D. with a new PR top finish in shot put, Adin F. taking first in the 110 hurdles with a new PR, Xavier G. winning the 400-meter dash with a new PR, Timur S. dominating both the 100 and 200-meter dashes with new PR’s, and a clutch victory in the 4x400 relay by Christian P., Anthony A., Timur S., and Xavier G.

Good morning Lions. Despite their best efforts your lady lions lost to the Laurel Gators yesterday . It was a close battle for a short time, which everyone showcase their best talent.
Boys Tennis improved to 6-1 on the season with a 4-1 victory over Old Trail yesterday. The Lions were led by Eren Berber's impressive win at first singles. Also victorious on the day were Alex Miller at third singles and the doubles teams of Alex Mayuga and Nolan Martincic, Jack Johnson and Ben Morrissey, and Alex Aronica and Aiden Tong. The Lions will look to continue their winning ways with a busy week next week with 4 matches on the schedule.
Boys Tennis notched two more victories last week over Willoughby and Roxboro before dropping their first match of the year yesterday against the University School A Team. Yesterday's match was very close, with Sid Sah and Alex Miller winning impressive, hard fought singles matches. The doubles team of Jack Johnson and Ben Morrissey also won their match. The Lions record stands at 4-1 with two more matches this week.

Congratulations to 7th graders Alex Miller, Alex Mayuga and Aidan Tong who picked up their first wins as Brady Tennis players. Also winners for Brady were 8th graders Eren Berber, Sid Sah, Johan Soler, Alex Aronica, Nolan Martincic and Jack Johnson.
Last night your Brady baseball team defeated the Shaker Raiders by a score of 14-3. This victory was led by a 15 strikeout performance and a complete game by Sam Melvey. Behind the plate catching was Jonah Silver along with Thalin Rao. Every bat was hot last night. One highlight is an impressive outing by Kaden Daoudi at the plate, earning multiple hits including a stand up double. Great Job Lions!
Yesterday your Lady Lions softball team rebounded from the their loss on Wednesday by beating the Brush Archs 10 to 9. With great hitting from the entire team, along with defensive plays by the infield. Also the pitching stood strong, through out the game. The Ladies displayed Team Work great game!
Your Brady Lions Baseball team defended their home field again last night with a 7-4 victory over Painesville. Pitching a complete game was Sam Zack. Thalin Rao was behind the mound. The lions were slow to start but once they got the bats going in the 4th, it was all over from there. Last night was a great team effort. Keep up the great work Lions!

Last night, your Brady Lions Baseball Team opened up their season with a dominating victory over University School. The whole team contributed to the win, with active bats throughout the lineup. A great game was pitched by Des Kinast through 4 innings, which was then closed by Elliott Clifford. Some other exciting highlights were Des Kinast turning a triple into a homerun, Logan Jordan having a great hit which drove in a RBI, a phenomenal hustle play by Sam Zack in Center Field for the diving catch, and a clean game behind the plate by our Catcher, Andre Kerlin. Great game yesterday, gentlemen. Good luck in your game today!

The 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Ashtabule Edgewood yesterday. The boys were led in scoring by Jojo Jacobs and Guyton Vucetic. The boys play Saturday in the CVC Championship game. Go Lions!!
8th Grade Boys Basketball made an epic comeback victory over Perry last night. They were down 17-2 at one point in the first quarter. They played outstanding defense and came back to win 46-43. Aaron Lewis led the team with 22 points. Christian Patillo, Trent Brown, Anthony Abruzzo, and Sam Melvey also scored in the victory. Jimmy Bobeck and Adin Frey played great defense to help in the big win! They play in the Championship game against Hawken on Saturday.

Earning individual awards were Vinnie Thorman who earned 7th place out of ninety 7th grade writers and Samiya Mendiratta earned first place overall for 8th grade out of 100 competitors. The Lionettes are hosting a workshop January 15th from 5 -7 (NEW TIME) in the OHS gym. We are looking for 7th and 8th grade girls that enjoy dance and that are interested in learning how to flag to join us. Seventh grade girls will be able to become a part of our Lionette Managers team and 8th graders will hopefully become a Lionette after tryouts that occur in March. Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball teams as they defeated Hawken yesterday. The entire team contributed a great defensive effort, holding Hawken to only 10 points. The Lions offense was led by Kenzie Mitchell, Abbie Fishman and Kiera Nelson. Great job girls!
Good morning Lions congratulate the 7th grade Lady Lions as they closed out their season with a win against Independence yesterday. They finish with a 4 and 3 season, great job ladies! They continue their road to championship tomorrow in Geneva.
8th Grade Boys Basketball Team defeated Chagrin Falls 48-35 last night. Trent Brown led the team with 16 points. Naren Bhatnager added 9 and Jimmy Bobeck added 7 in the victory. Next game is against West G. on Monday.
The 7th grade boys basketball team improved their record to 4 and 0. They defeated the rival Chagrin Falls Tigers 48-20. Leading the boys in scoring were Jojo Jacobs and Logan Williams. Defensive player of the game was Idiah Incledon. Way to go Lions!!

The 2024 Youth in Government conference took place in Columbus Sunday through Tuesday. The participating 7th and 8th graders did a phenomenal job representing our school by going through the process of writing a bill and then presenting it at the State house in hopes of it becoming a Bill. Samiya Mediratta did an outstanding job as the Lieutenant Governor. Beks Toth received the "Outstanding Statesperson" award, and the "Best Bill" award went to Ava Mukhopadhyay and Elena Brateanu. A special congratulations to Navya Kambhampati for being elected as next year's Speaker of the House. Well done, Ballard Brady delegation!

The Brady Middle School Swim Team swam against Harmon Aurora Middle School yesterday and the Brady Middle School girls team lost 88 to 73 and the Brady Middle School boys team won 102 to 53.
The food drive officially starts on Monday Oct 28th and goes the whole week until Friday November 1st! The builders club is asking you to bring in any food donations and put them in the bag in your Pride classroom in the morning. Each day at Pride time a member of Builders Club will collect the donations. Each member of the Pride with the most donations will win Mitchell’s Ice Cream gift cards from the PTA! The Brady cross country team finished their season in impressive fashion. The boys place 2nd overall and the girls placed 4th overall. Winning medals for the boy were Spencer Wolinetz, Bennett Johnson, Sam Melvey, and Aiden Kinsler. The top 4 girls were Noomi Levine, Indra Iyer, Hadlie Munk, and Syrenity Gamble. The coaches would like to thank each team member for their outstanding effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Go Lions!!
Back to Back Champs! Brady Boys Soccer Team defeated Beachwood (The Team Over There) 4-1 last night to become CVC champs for the second season in a row. Kaden Daoudi led the team with 2 goals and 2 assists. Ethan Cao added a goal. And Xavier Gentsch had an amazing header for another goal. Iain Rowe helped the team by being outstanding in the goal. It was an amazing team effort all season where they dominated the opposition outscoring their opponents 113 to 4.
The Orange Book Buddy Program is now in its eleventh year at Brady Middle School! Sixth graders and high school buddies meet in small groups to choose, read and discuss books together, as well as having some fun with other activities. Book Buddies will take place after school on Mondays in the BMS library. Meetings begin September 30th. Brady Boys Soccer Team defeated Hawken 8-0 in the semifinal game of the CVC tournament. Karl Teamor led the team with 4 goals and 1 assist. Kaden Daoudi added a goal and 3 assists. Xavier Gentsch, Eli Neuendorf, and Adiah Incledon each added a goal in the victory. They will face either Beachwood or Painesville Heritage in the Championship on Wednesday.
Girls Tennis won at home against rival Solon yesterday, sweeping all 5 courts. Picking up wins were Navya Kambhampati, Isha Kambhampati and Zoey Ro at singles, as did the doubles teams of Olivia Kim/Olivia Schartman and Abi Nguyen/Brodi Hedaya. In another match, doubles team Lily Kronenberg and Raleigh Lapene won a tight match in a tie-breaker.

The Orange Book Buddy Program is now in its eleventh year at Brady Middle School! Sixth graders and high school buddies meet in small groups to choose, read and discuss books together, as well as having some fun with other activities. Book Buddies will take place after school on Mondays in the BMS library. Meetings begin September 30th. Girls Tennis swept to a 5-0 victory against Solon yesterday, highlighted by a tense 8-7 win in a tie-breaker by the second doubles team Abi Nguyen/Brodi Hedaya. Upcoming for the unbeaten Lions is the Geneva Doubles Invitational on Saturday, then 5 straight matches to end the season, including home matches Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Girls Tennis improved to 11-0 Monday with a 7-0 sweep of Roxboro in an all doubles format. Winning were the teams of Zoey Ro/Isha Kambhampati, Olivia Kim/Navya Kambhampati, Abi Nguyen/Ella Brateanu, Brodi Hedaya/Olivia Schartman, Lily Kronenberg/Emma Lui, Ma'ayan Ben Yosef/Alia Serletis, and Chrisanne Collins/Ma'ayan (again). Celebrate YOUR freedom to read during Banned Books week. This week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. The books featured during Banned Books Week have all been targeted for removal or restriction in libraries and schools across the country. Visit the Media Center this week to see the Banned Book display, and enter the contests for a chance to win some fun prizes.
Harry Potter… Of Mice and Men… Drama… What’s your favorite book? Chances are someone has tried to ban it. Celebrate YOUR freedom to read during Banned Books Week. All students who read a ‘banned’ book will be entered into a contest to win fabulous prizes.

Tennis picked up a 5-0 win yesterday against Memorial at Brush High School. Abi Nguyen, Lily Kronenberg and Brodi Hedaya won at singles. Brodi and Lily teamed up for a win at doubles, as did Lulu Shao and Raleigh Lepene. The team's unbeaten season will be tested next week against tough opponents Beachwood, Solon and Hathaway Brown.
Brady Boys Soccer Team defeated Edgewood last night 11-0. The team dominated the possession in earning their 7th straight victory. Kaden Daoudi led the team with 3 goals and Karl Teamor added 2. It was a great team effort.

Girls Tennis defeated host Mayfield 4-1 yesterday. Isha and Navya Kambhampati won at 1st and 2nd singles, as did Olivia Kim and Olivia Schartman at 1st doubles. Alia Serletis and Ma'ayan Ben Yosef also had a doubles win. A match highlight was Ella Brateanu's close 9-7 back and forth win at 3rd singles. The Lions travel to take on Hawken today.
Brady Boys Soccer Team defeated Kirtland 12-0 last night. Xavier Gentsch, Adrian Taracila, and Eli Neuendorf each had 2 goals in the win. Tomorrow, the team faces Edgewood at home. Go Lions!
The boys and girls cross country team ran against their rivals Chagrin Falls yesterday. The top boys performers were Spencer Wolinetz, Bennett Johnson, Aiden Kinsler, and Sam Melvey. The girls top performers were Noomi Levine, Hadley Munk, Indra Iyer, and Syrenity Gamble. Special shout out to Colin Lipscomb who took five minutes off his last race. Way to go Lions!!

Girls Tennis improved to 5-0 yesterday with a win over Laurel. Isha Kambhampati, Zoey Ro and Ella Brateanu won on singles courts as did the double team of Olivia Kim and Olivia Schartman. Navya Kambhampati dropped her first match of the year in a hard fought battle against probably the best player in the area. The Girls travel to Geneva for a match today.
Brady Boys Soccer Team defeated Jefferson yesterday 9-0. Karl Teamor and Kaden Daoudi each had a hat trick with 3 goals apiece. Adiah Incledon, Jonah Silver, and Sanay Moghekar each added a goal. Iain Rowe had a shutout in goal. They play Conneaut on Wednesday. Go Lions!
Girls Tennis made the long trip out to Geneva yesterday and returned home with a win. The day's highlights included the first Middle School tennis wins for 7th graders Ma'ayan Ben Yosef and Alia Serletis with their doubles partners 7th graders Chrisanne Collins and Ava Taylor. The 6-0 Lions will face Mayfield, Hawken and Memorial next week.
The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team defeated Shaker Heights yesterday at home. Goals were scored or assisted by Paige Janke, Cassie Vadakin, Finley Schrader, Abby Powell, Lilah Bass, Georgie Gentsch and Abbie Fishman. Great job girls!

Sweeping the singles courts were Olivia Kim, Olivia Schartman and Lily Kronenberg, and sweeping the doubles courts were the teams of Abi Nguyen/Brodi Hedaya and Ella Brateanu/Emma Lui. The undefeated LIons take on Laurel and Geneva next week.
Brady Boys soccer team defeated Crestwood 7-0 last night. Karl Teamor had 2 goals and 1 assist. Kaden Daoudi had 1 goal and 2 assists. Xavier Gentsch added 2 more goals. Iain Rowe and Ethan Braverman had the the shutout in goal. Next up, Painesville Heritage on Friday. Go Lions!
7th and 8th grade girls soccer team traveled to Beachwood yesterday and earned a hard fought 2-2 tie. The Lady Lions were led on the offensive attack by Abby Powell and Cassie Vadakin, with each scoring a goal. Georgie Gentsch, Kristina Snyder, Abbie Fishman, and Ava Mukhopadhyay all played stellar second defense. Paige Janke secured the draw by making several outstanding saves in goal. Great job girls!
