Band Camp (Grades 4 - 7)
Description: Students in grades 4 -7 interested in honing their musical instrument skills will practice in a fun filled environment with activities to sharpen their talents.

Preschool Summer Enrichment
Description: Sustaining the benefits of preschool as children transition to kindergarten is a focus of the Orange Township Public Schools. The summer enrichment program will target skills needed for successful entry into kindergarten. The program will focus on all content areas but will have a special focus on prereading skills, social & emotional development, and fine motor (small muscles) skills through the use of a fun and exciting summer theme. The children will be exposed to hands-on experiences as they use their senses to learn, explore, create, and discover the wonders of nature. The projected outcome of the summer program is to ensure that children enter kindergarten with the ability and skills necessary to access the content in the curriculum successfully and to meet desired learning targets throughout the school year.

Description: The Pre-K ESY program will target skills needed for maintenance and re-enforcement. ESY Summer Program (K - 12)
Description: The ESY program is an additional instructional support for students with disabilities. The program is an extension of the learning that is provided during the traditional academic school year. The instructional practices emphasize maintenance and academic growth of skills acquired during the school year. Students will learn instructional skills in ELA and Mathematics through project based activities focusing on specific thematic unit themes with the integration of technology and 21st Century Skills. Students will related services during the ESY program as indicated in the IEP.

TinkrWorks Summer Camp (Grades 3 - 5)
Description: This program will offer students scientific content through multidisciplinary projects. Students will be able to build, program, and design their own project. These projects are standards-aligned and incorporate the engineering principles necessary for success in future STEM classes.
This will be a 4-week program for students in grades 3-5 that will be filled with content, enrichment, and fun through a hands-on, project-based approach.
It is the goal of this program to introduce the field of STEM to these students as well as strengthen their problem-solving and engineering skills. These are skills they will continue to use directly in their science and engineering classes as well as other cross-curricular areas.

Description: OHS- Naval NJROTC Drill and Leadership Academy (CADETS ONLY)
Cadets will learn military drill and protocols. New cadets will be introduced to the Naval NJROTC program. All cadets will engage in physical training with team activities and challenges. Uniform issue, fitting and proper wear will be addressed. This will provide the preparation needed to begin the 2022-2023 school year programming.
