This extended writing task talks about how the story "The Tell-Tale Heart" is a part of a horror story, I also use the text "What Is The Horror Genre?" to help my claim that "The Tell-Tale Heart" is about is a horror story

This poem is about the light within me, and what I wrote about how the light within me was mathematics. This poem was difficult to write because at first I didn't know what to write about in this poem. There was nothing I really enjoyed about writing this poem.

This essay talks about how technology is beneficial to teenagers. Something that I really liked about writing this essay is that I feel like I could relate to the essay because since I'm a teenager I also believe that technology is beneficial for teenagers. There weren't any struggles that I had writing this essay. When I look at the context of my portfolio it shows that I'm a hard working student who tries her best at what shes passionate about. One of my favorite assignments that I enjoyed the most has to be "Technology Helps Teenagers". I enjoyed writing this essay because it describes how technology is beneficial for teens, like who are my age. 

This benchmark writing is about Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman. It talks about how their similar, how their different, and how Douglass’s letter helps the readers learn of Tubman’s contribution to free the enslaved people in our country. I enjoyed doing this writing because it talks about slavery, slavery is where mainly black people were treated like property by white people.
