8th Grade

Overall, my 8th-grade journey has taught me the importance of hard work, commitment, passion, and acceptance. I have been fortunate to have many wonderful students, teachers, and staff who have supported me throughout the school year. I would like to express my gratitude to Mrs. Nickson, my ELA teacher, for constantly motivating me and my classmates to strive for our very best. I thank Mrs. Thompson, my science teacher, for her unwavering kindness in her classroom. I appreciate Mrs. Guedes, my social studies teacher, for allowing us to be ourselves and for creating a safe environment for everyone. I am also grateful to Mr. Valdez, my honors math teacher, for encouraging my aspiration to become a financial analyst. A heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Evra, my gym and health teacher, for always bringing laughter to our class. Lastly, I want to thank Mr. Hall for his support in dance class, especially on those occasions when I struggled with the steps, and for inspiring me to participate in the school dance assembly. My 8th-grade experience has been filled with laughter, tears, and the diligent effort I have put into making this school year memorable.
