I don't think I did exceptionally well on the Lab report portion, due to the fact that my concept of explainging the Lab isn't as detailed as it's supposed to be. Sometime I can find it hard to explain thing I've done, but what I can take away from this assignment would be to probably write a more detailed account of the lab while doing it in present time.
I was proud of this assignment because it was one of the first assignment I really understood; before the complex factors of physics came in to the picture, but I also felt this assignment was a very interactive lesson.
In this assignment I was expected to verify the conservation of momentum for fully elastic and totally inelastic collisions, to verify the impulse momentum theorem. I was able to compelete the lab and write a lab report for this assignment. The lab was on the easier side compared to other Labs done in this class.
When given this assignment were talking about the center of mass of a air craft. Since the engine of the air craft is located in the front we hypothesized that it´s center of mass would be different compared to another object. With the data we collected was the center of mass of the Physic class.
I choose this assignment because I know that I struggle sometimes writing my Lab reports. Even with the prep of the lab it can be diffcult for me to put my actions into works as well as sometimes I find it hard to relate the lab back to the actually lesson. Although I do end up asking a lot of questions and use own outside research to complete the report.
When doing this assignment, I felt a sense of pride in completing it as it was one of the few tasks I really comprehended, a part from the fundamentals of physics. This was not a complete challenge I most definitely saying that paying attention to the given variables and the unspoken variables because its easy to get lost and lean off into the wrong things.
With this assignment we watched a video about an aircraft being built and flown. We were told to create some physic related questions as we watched the video. My focus while watching was if the aircraft was actually stable and can work under pressure. As the individuals in the video did know what they were doing I was curious about how the aircrafted function with and without the fixes they had done on it.
