Marking Period 2
Work I Could grow from
I got an 80% on my Law Day Project I see that there are a few requirements upon the rubric that I did not fully meet that got me the grade. This assignment asked us to complete something in which I chose to make an illustration, in respect to the year's theme for Law Day. I defenitely couldve improved the work by staying more on topic with the theme or exploring my ideas further within the illustration.
Work im proud of
This was my submission for a Black History Month Writing Contest in which I scored a 90%. The Black History Month Writing Contest was a contest that we were all enrolled in with a 1500 word requirement. In this writing I think my use of vocabulary was put to use well and I conveyed what I wanted to within my wiriting pretty well. The reason I had lost some points on this was due to the issues I used to have with in-text citations and my unintended use of a single source.
Marking Periods 3/4

I scored a 94% on this assingment as I used to rubric assist me in touching upon most of the points that were asked of me.
Work I could improve upon:
This was my submission for my Korean War writing where I scored an 88%. Within this writing my weakness I had within my usage of in text citations showed. I also fell slightly off topic while explaining the information I intended to touch upon within my writing. If there was anything I could do to make this assignment better it would be to rewrite the question to not be advising. Asking a student to advise someone else can be very confusing as advising people not only requires an understanding of the information but also an understanding of the person being advised.
