Washington, DC Itinerary

Day 1 (Thursday, May 11, 2023)

5:45 am Buses arrive, begin loading, depart by 6:00am

Rest stop during trip to DC (approximately 2 hours into trip)

11:00 am Visit the US Marine Corps Museum in Quantico VA

12:00 pm Lunch (brought from home) stop after museum on grounds

1:00 pm Guided visit of Arlington National Cemetery

3:30 pm Guided visits of Lincoln, Korean War, Vietnam War Memorials

5:30 pm Dinner: food court (voucher included)

7:00 pm Guided visits of Jefferson and MLK Memorials

8:30 pm Check into hotel, Woodbridge VA

Day 2 (Friday, May 12)

6:00 am Breakfast (included) at hotel, buses depart 7:15am.

8:00 am Visit the Iwo Jima/US Marine Corps Memorial

9:00 am Photo opportunity by the White House

10:00 am Smithsonian Museums on the National Mall: Lunch

12:30 pm Visit the Museum of African American History and Culture OR Ford’s

Theater based on availability

3:00 pm Depart Washington DC, Dinner (included) in route to NC

10:00 pm Approximate arrival at school
