Background Information
Hello! My name is Crystal Jones and I am very happy to have you as part of my class this year. I was born and raised in Florida - I grew up in Miami and moved to Orlando to further my education. I attended the University of Central Florida where I received my bachelor's degree in Social Science Education. This is my 6th school year at A.L. Stanback and my 4th teaching Project Lead the Way.
Teaching Philosophy
My goal is to make STEM fun for all students by emphasizing as much hands-on activities as possible. I understand that each student is unique; they all need a caring, stimulating, and secure atmosphere in which to mature and grow in all areas of their lives. I want to provide students with a place where they can take risks, share their ideas, and cooperate as team!
Thoughts on Communication
I strongly believe that education is a partnership between home and school. I value parent and student involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with me to make this year a great one!
