8th Grade Q1 ended with a Make Your Own Musical project. Each student's group was to make up a musical and "pitch it" to their class of posible investors. Ask them to show you. They were wonderful!
Our choir classes perform 3-4 concerts a year and provide joy through music to local hospitals and nursing homes during the holidays. We sing a variety of music that covers classical, to choral, to folk, and more.
Choir gives students the opportunity to learn and grow through communication and teamwork. ALS choir is designed to give every student a voice and to give them a taste of community.
To achieve this, ALS choir:
Develops the abilities of students who love to sing;
Provides a quality music education at every level through proper technique and artistic excellence;
Introduces singers to the diverse musical cultures of our community;
Develops self-confidence and pride through music;
Provides students opportunities to develop friendships and create lifelong memories.
