Welcome to 7th Grade ELA

My name is Ashley Macneir. I have worked in the education system since 2004 and hold a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in English education. My husband and I have four children (yes, we are busy people). After teaching at a local community college for two years, I am back at Orange Middle School! Go Chargers!

I believe learning is a lifelong journey. Instilling that concept is important to me as a teacher! I have taught in public education, a college preparatory school, and even in a Montessori setting. My varied educational experiences give me a unique perspective on learning. Active engagement and a comfortable and supportive learning environment are key factors for student success. I look forward to working with your student this school year!

My name is Tara Raggett, I have been in education for almost 30 years, and I am entering my second year at Orange Middle School. I am a wife, mom of two adult children, and two bonus children. I love soccer, running, all things UNC, Ohio State Football, The Cleveland Browns, and I am a passionate New York Yankees Fan. I am looking forward to this school year and eager to see my student’s growth and accomplishments.
