Math and Science Specialist
Turkey Hill School
Mrs. Corcoran began her Turkey Hill School adventure as a fourth-grade teacher before becoming the Math and Science Specialist in 2012. She has been inspiring young learners since 2005 and has taught grades 1, 3, and 4 in various districts, bringing a wealth of classroom experience and creativity to every lesson.
Before entering education, Mrs. Corcoran spent 20 years in the business world, where she honed her leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills—qualities she now channels into helping students and teachers succeed.
Besides her K-6 Teacher Certification, Mrs. Corcoran also holds a Teacher Leader certification in Elementary Mathematics. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, a master’s degree in Education, and most recently, a Sixth Year degree in Technology Integration. (She’s always eager to find new ways to blend technology with teaching!)
When she’s not busy making math and science meaningful, Mrs. Corcoran enjoys time with her husband and friends on the slopes or at the beach, gardening (though she's tending more to weeds than flowers) and most importantly, traveling to or with her two grown sons, Michael and Erich, who continue to make her proud every day.
