Hi Everyone, and Welcome to My Page!

I am so excited to be starting my second year at OPS. Before starting in Oradell, I taught abroad at an international school in Finland. 

My favorite part of teaching first grade is seeing the students blossom as readers and mathematicians throughout the year. In first grade, we do a lot of interactive read-alouds and hands-on learning. 

Outside the classroom, my favorite things to do are reading and traveling! Last year, I read a total of 160 books and I love to share my enthusiasm for reading with my students. 

I’m looking forward to a great year and getting to know each of my students. Let’s have an awesome school year!
