There is no assigned homework for Art. If students need more time for a project, they are always welcome to work on projects during Art Club or arrange a time before or after school.

• Encourage a love for art: visit museums in New York City, such as, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney , The Guggenheim Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, The Asia Society, and The Neue Galerie  to name a few. 

• Schedule special trips to sculpture gardens : such as Storm King, Grounds for Sculpture, and even Philadelphia's Magic Gardens.

• Do small art projects together as a family: visit Pinterest and Instagram for ideas.

• Join an art class: local libraries and studios have planned activities.

• Create an art space at home: Set up a "messy" area where your child can enjoy creating art care-free. 

• Celebrate achievements: Frame your little artist's creations in changeable frames.
