Meet Mrs. Stein!

Mrs. Stein has been teaching for a total of  30 years. She began teaching 9th and 10th grade English at John Burroughs High School and has taught both 7th and 8th grade Language Arts/Social Studies at Medea Creek for the last 25 years.  

In the 2026-27 school year, Mrs. Stein is excited to be teaching a new 6th grade Intro to Drama elective. She has temporarily retired from English.

For the past 13+ years, in order to find a balance between her work and personal life, she has worked part-time, teaching until lunch. Don't let that fool you though as she is often found on campus late in the day and working at home late into the evenings.  According to Mrs. Stein, "I am absolutely passionate about teaching and love what I do! I love middle schoolers!"
