The Oak Park HS PFA is currently looking for parents interested in joining our Board for the 2026–27 school year. We have several positions open with flexible time commitments, and many roles can be done on your own schedule.

President (or Co-President) - leads the PFA Board and is the main liason between the school administration and the PFA
VP Fundraising - manages the fundraising drives and events, coordinates with the President
Financial Secretary- oversees financial records and deposits, works closely with the Treasurer, and helps ensure accurate tracking and documentation of PFA funds/
Auditor - annually reviews the financials with the Treasurer to ensure accuracy, transparency and to verify funds are properly documented.
The following Committee Chairs are integral to the function of the PFA. Please consider volunteering for one of these positions:
Novel Sales Fundraiser - This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and is integral to our fundraising efforts.
Coordinate the organization of this fundraiser which happens beings during the summer and concludes during Registration.
Hospitality Committee Chair - This is a critical position for the PFA as this committee organizes our two yearly Teacher/Staff Luncheons.
oversees our hospitality committee and helps to arrange the PFA- hosted, on-campus events. that need food and decor.
We are also looking for the following roles.
Carpool Coordinator - This role is primarily at the beginning of the year.
Organizes the promotion and distribution to the parents of the crowd sourced carpool list at the beginning of the school year. All forms and information are set up online and in Google Drive. Time commitment is minimal and flexible; August through October.
Webmaster - assists with the upkeep of our Google Sites based website. The website gets an update at the beginning of the year and then small changes throughout the year. Position is entirely remote and flexible.
