Career & College Knowledge Night Volunteer
This event takes place every year for Oak Park and Las Virgenes USD families and rotates between Agoura High, Calabasas High and OPHS. This year OPHS is the host. Families can attend informational workshops on various college based topics plus attend the College Fair, where represenatives from colleges, universityes, the military, test prep and other areas are available to answer questions.
We will need volunteers to work alongside Amanda Fitts and Ambyr Preston (our C &CC counselors) to help plan the event AND day-of volunteers.
The OPHS Journalism Team is hoping to plan a special team-building experience with a behind-the-scenes tour of a local news station, broadcast studio, newsroom or similar media organization. They are looking for a parent or community member who may have a connection and can help us open a door! Are you in the news or broadcast industry, or do you know someone who is?
If so, please reach out to Ms. Carter @ ncarter@opusd.org
