Imparting the joy and love of learning is one of the key ingredients of great teaching. Combining supportive teachers with great technology makes schools future ready. For example, learning how to code is one aspect of computational thinking. Learning how to teach coding is another skill as well. The content covers ways to teach coding and make it more accessible to a diverse audience.
Computational thinking is often limited to computer lessons or special robotics clubs. Sometimes lack of equipment is a binding constraint in access to computational thinking activities.
This session looks at simple ways to bring computational thinking to every class and subject. It explores how to implement STEAM in the school environment with Google for Education.
