What are Custom GPTs?
Custom GPTs are versions of ChatGPT that you can are tailored for specific tasks or topics. By combining instructions (prompts), knowledge (uploaded information), and capabilities (third-party integrations), GPTs can be designed to solve for very specific needs.
When to use a custom GPT
Consistent Outputs: Get the same quality and type of responses every time.
Streamlined Workflow: Save time by not having to re-establish context in every new conversation.
Focused Assistance: GPTs concentrate on your specific needs, making interactions more effective and satisfying.
How to Access Custom GPTs
The ChatGPT Store has many GPTs created by both OpenAI and 3rd-parties. 3rd-party GPT availability may vary by Enterprise.
You can also see previously accessed GPTs that you have created, or that have been shared with you via the left hand panel under the new chat button
Clicking on "Explore GPTs" will also take you to the ChatGPT store!
Sharing GPTs with Others
You can share GPTs either by copying the URL to the GPT directly from your web browser, or by copying the link using the "Copy link" button under the drop down carrot (shown to the right).
If you have a prompt or use case you keep revisiting or something you think others on your team could benefit from, it might be time to build a GPT.
