Quickstart Guide
Quickstart Guide
This Quickstart Guide will help you confidently begin using ChatGPT at work. This guide prepares you to:
Navigate ChatGPT and your first conversations
Understand what support resources are available and how to access them
Logging in
Login to ChatGPT Enterprise by using the URL or invite provided by your organization. If your company requires SSO, login through that provider.
If you also have an individual account, make sure to login with your Teams or Enterprise ChatGPT account in order to keep your team's data secure.
Starting a Conversation
ChatGPT is built on top of a powerful large language model and can assist with a wide range of tasks. Think about a task or communication that you have at work. For example, try starting with writing.
“Can you help me draft a message to schedule a meeting for next week?”
If your output needs more information or adjustment, you can provide ChatGPT with feedback in the conversation. Providing more context for the model can help refine your answer. For more on best practices in prompting, see Prompting in ChatGPT.
Revisit Conversations
Easily revisit conversations by selecting them from the left hand panel. ChatGPT will organize these by recency.
E.g., Today, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days and then by month.
Share Conversations
You can also share conversations with others and invite them to pick up your chat, or follow along. Any additional messages will also be viewable after you share that link (specific only to that conversation).
Share your chat with others by clicking on the share button in the top right.
By clicking share in the top right, a modal will pop up in the middle of the screen inviting you to create a link.
Once you click this link, it will generate a shareable url that you can include and send to others in your organization.
