Fifth graders started off the school year with by identifying their favorites in Spanish, likes and dislikes and looking for similarities and differences among the class. We also set proficiency goals for speaking and writing! We then read a short story, Carlos y los 3 Monstruos.
During Hispanic Heritage month, groups made collaborative presentations on Argentina, España, Colombia, Perú y México. We also have been enjoying Música Mania listening to songs from each Spanish speaking country and voting each class for a winner. Stay tuned to find out the final winner of the brackets!
