iPad Apps

Seesaw

D97's K-2 Learning Management System: Kids log in through the class app to access teacher created activities, document their learning, receive feedback, and comment on peer work. (There is a separate family app for family members to communicate with teachers and see their student's work.)

Zoom

Zoom is how we will video chat for whole group, small group, and individual synchronous learning. Zoom is also one way we may communicate with families throughout the year.

Clever

Clever is a portal that stores many student logins and makes it easier for students to get into apps with accounts independently by removing their need to remember and type usernames and passwords.

Lexia

Lexia is a self-paced phonemic awareness and phonics program. Students should work on Lexia without help from an adult because Lexia provides detailed information about how students are doing to the teacher so that the teacher can follow up and provide individualized instruction.

Raz-Kids

Raz-Kids is a library of leveled ebooks and audio books for students to practice reading. Students may listen and then read on there own or can read the books with an older person just like they would a paper book. Books available will change throughout the year.

Epic!

Epic is a library of high interest picture books that students can practice reading or have read to them. In general, these books are more challenging than the ones on Raz and will likely need more support for students to read independently.
