Role of the Teacher

Teachers play a crucial role in fostering positive experiences and growth in children. To achieve this, teachers must keenly observe each child to discover their interests, creating a rich and engaging learning environment. We have embraced elements of the Reggio Emilia (No Small Matter, 2016) and Waldorf (Cohen & Bresnihan, 2018) models to redefine the role of the teacher within our educational approach.

Role of the Child

Equally significant is the role of the child, as their active participation and curiosity are essential for their development and overall learning experience. In line with the Montessori (Dorer et al., (2018), Waldorf (Cohen & Bresnihan, 2018) and Reggio Emilia models (No Small Matter, 2016), we wholeheartedly embrace children as active participants in their learning journey at Bright Beginnings. They set the tone for exploration and discovery, and we see ourselves as their co-learners, guiding and supporting their growth every step of the way.
