Transition Day

Is your child ready to embark on an exciting journey into secondary school life? Transition Day is your chance to step into the shoes of a secondary school student and get a taste of what lies ahead. Get ready to discover the ins and outs of your future school! From the classrooms to the cafeteria, you'll have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the layout and facilities. Transition Day is your chance to meet the people who will guide you through your secondary school journey. Say hello to your tutor and get to know some of the teachers who will be there to support you along the way.

Year 6 Transfer Day: Thursday 10 July 2025: 8:30am – 2:30pm 

• Pupils should wear their primary school uniform, with trainers or comfortable shoes for a PE session.

• Please ensure your child brings a water bottle with them. 

• Arrival time is 8:30am – you will be directed to the main hall.

• Lunch and a snack will be provided.

• Pupils should bring their own pencil case with them. 

• Parents collecting pupils at the end of the day should wait at the main gate at 2:30pm - please do not block the school gates while you are waiting.

Please expect an email in June asking you what your child would like to eat from the following options:

1. Macaroni Cheese 

2. Sausage and Mash 

3. Jacket Potato 

4. Cheese Sandwich 

5. Ham Sandwich 

6. Packed Lunch
