HP Printer Error e4

Sometimes you may notice that your printer displays E& 4 alternatively or icon of Paper Error, which is all because of an error called HP Printer Error e4. It may occur to your printer, when paper gets jammed. Paper may get stuck inside the catridge or the input tray. 

What causes HP Printer Error e4?

When your printing paper gets jammed or strucked inside the input tray. Or it may stuck into the catridge that leads to the issue. Many a times, it happens that small pieces of paper may stuck into your printer that can cause a problem.

Fix the Error Refer the points below

Here are some techniques to solve the problem you are facing-

Make cartridge free

• First of all, Switch ON the Printer, then open the Catridge door.

• Now, remove wires from power outlet.

• Thereafter, remove any stucked paper.

• Shut the cartridge door now.

• Lastly, plugin the printer wire again.

Paper rollers Cleaning

• You need to clean the input tray by removing the stucked paper. Before this, turn On HP Printer.

• Press the Power button & hold it. And press 'Cancel' button 3 times.

• Press color copy button about 7 times. Then release Power button.

• After a while, paper rollers are cleaned. 

Clean up smeared ink

• Turn on your printer. Then, put the paper into the paper tray.

• Nextly, press then hold the power button.

• Thereafter, click Cancel button 3 times. 

• Press the Start color copy for 8 times.

• Now release these buttons.

Perform HP Printer Resetting

• Now, remove the Power cord then wait for about 1 minute.

• Thereafter, again connect thr printer wire.

• As you reset the printer, Turn it ON.

Now, as your HP Printer Error e4 is resolved, you can perform your work without any obstruction.
