Lighthouse is a free performance test website, where you can evaluate a site or progressive web app in a variety of ways to determine how it could be improved. We used it as the basis for evaluating the end app from the two platforms we built out a sample app on.
The main factor in performance was the loading of assets. Using web-optimize images would help with loading time.
The main factor in performance here was inefficient and unused CSS coding and rules. There's nothing the platform can do to fix this sort is issue.
Below are the screens from the two PWA's we built and deployed to test out the end results of the platform.
Overall, we were impressed with the clean, minimal design of GoodBarber. Everything looked modern and was clear, high-contrast text. There was excellent use of full-width images, and titles. The app was easy to navigate and worked well.
We were less impressed with the experience using AppyPie's end app. The interface felt dated and cramped. The screens themselves were inconsistent, different color backgrounds, inconsistent buttons, rounding, alignment, overall made the end app experience poor.
