Onchaminahos School opened in 1976 with the primary mandate of educating Saddle Lake’s children and youth from grades K-12. With the completion of a junior/senior high school, the school presently hosts playschool to grade five.

Onchaminahos School meets the academic needs of students precisely because we integrate nehiyaw pimatisiwin. We live our culture throughout the entire school day and we teach our culture, in all subjects. Through this unique educational arrangement, students are encouraged to identify, reach and use their inherent gifts and achieve academic success.
