Middle School Conductor: Dr. Patrick Lawrence (Professor of Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point)
High School Conductor: Dr. Cory Near (Assistant Professor or Music Director of Bands; Concert Band, Symphonic Band at Luther College)

8:15 AM – Registration, chair seating, and warm-up
8:45 AM – Rehearsal:
High School Band: Auditorium
Middle School Band: Band Room
11:30 AM – MS Lunch (provided outside the PAC/hallways)
12:15 PM – MS rehearsal on stage, HS lunch
1:00 PM – Rehearsal continues:
High School Band: Band Room
Middle School Band: Auditorium
4:00 PM – Change into concert attire and enjoy a snack or movie break
4:45 PM – Warm-up and tune:
Middle School Band: On stage
High School Band: Band Room
5:15 PM – Concert
MS Band performs first, HS group watches and transitions to perform after
Attire:
High School: Concert Black
Middle School: Black pants, black shoes, and your school’s band attire (all day)
Lunch: Provided (Pizza, water, cookies). Students may bring a sack lunch if preferred.
What to Bring:
Instrument, music, pencil, supplies (reeds, oil, grease, mutes as needed), snack for breaks.
Percussionists: Bring sticks and mallets (percussion instruments will be provided).
